Instructions for Mandarin cake with Quark cream

To prepare the Mandarin cake with Quark cream recipe, please follow these instructions:

Pour the kvarken up in a clean Tea towel, let it drain and squeeze it gently with your hands. (This is only necessary if the kvarken is too thin/liquid). Mix the kvarken with oil, eggs, sugar, flour and baking powder and knead it to a dough-it must not be too sticky.

Heat oven up to 180 degrees.

Butter springformen.

The filling: Pour mandarinerne in a sieve and let them drain. Tube kvarken in a bowl with sour cream and stir then vanillebuddingpulver and baking soda in.

SKIL eggs. Whip ægggeblommerne foamy with butter and sugar, and stir it in Quark mass. Beat the egg whites until stiff with lemon juice and lemon zest and fold it gently in the Quark mass; cut about half of the drained mandarin fillets into small pieces and mix them in.

Roll the dough out on a floured, line springformen with the dough and press it up high along the edges; fill Quark mass in and arrange the remaining mandaringer decorative on the top of the cake.

Bake the cake in the oven for approx. 60 minutes, take it out, let it just swallow. Take it out of the mold and allow it to be completely cold. Serve the cake with a sprinkling of powdered sugar.
