Instructions for Appelpie
To prepare the Appelpie recipe, please follow these instructions:
Crumble fat in the flour. Add egg yolk and water. Gather the dough quickly. Place it cold for ½-1 hour. Turn on the oven at 225 degrees C. Peel the apples, cut them in both, and mix them with sugar and spices. Grease a refractory dish. Put the apples in. Roll the dough on a floured table, in a slightly larger plate than the dish. Lay the dough over the apples. Push it to the edge so that it forms a wave edge. Cut some air holes with a scissors. Brush the dough with egg whipped egg. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake on the grid in the middle of the oven for 30-40 minutes. Serve warm with crème fraîche, whipped cream. vanilla ice cream.
