25 | g | Yeast |
25 | g | Butter or margarine |
300 | g | Wheat flour |
Instructions for Berliners I
To prepare the Berliners I recipe, please follow these instructions:
Melt fat and mix with milk, let it become hand-warmed. Stir yeast into the mixture, add sugar and egg. Mix the flour gradually and knead the dough well. The dough raises for 30 minutes. Roll the dough into 1/2 cm thick, put round cakes of 7 to 8 cm in diameter. Put the jam on half of the cakes. Lay the rest of the cakes over and squeeze together at the edge. Leave the cakes for 15 minutes, cook the cakes one by one until they are light brown. Put them on a piece of greasy paper and sprinkle sugar over.
