Mix yogurt and sugar and add the jam. Put the mixture in the freezer for 1-2 hours. Stir it occasionally. Whip the egg whites stiff. Turn them into the yoghurt mass. Replace the freezer for 1-2 hours. Stir it occasionally. The sorbet must be soft during serving. It is important that the sorbet is served just after it has been taken out of the freezer.
