0.5 | dl | Water |
1 | tsp | Vanilla sugar |
1.25 | g | Salt |
225 | g | Butter or margarine |
250 | g | Wheat flour |
3 | tbsp | Sugar |
4 | Apples |
Instructions for Applefish (Old-fashioned)
To prepare the Applefish (Old-fashioned) recipe, please follow these instructions:
puff Pastry:
Flour, salt and water are mixed. Possibly. More water is added until the dough has a suitable consistency.
The dough is rolled out into a square. The margarine is placed diagonally with the dough in the middle and the dough is folded around so you get a square.
The dough is folded in layers:
1x3 layer + 1x4 layer
The dough rests some time and folds again:
1x3 layer + 1x4 layer
After that, the dough is put on the fridge in min. 1 hour.
Peel and cut the apples in the tern. Boil them with water in a saucepan until they turn into mash and taste with sugar and vanilla sugar. Cool the mash before it is used for the dough.
The dough is rolled out in 20x60 cm. And divided into 10 parts. Apple or apple marmalade is distributed in the middle and sides are bent over. The edges are printed with a fork. Brush with egg and sprinkle with sugar and nuts.
Bake for approx. 15 min at 190 degrees (hot air)
tips:
You can also use apple marmalade to fill instead of making apple sauce yourself.
