Ingredients for Wheat buds
Milk or water | ||

1 | tsp | Salt |
1 | dl | Whole milk |
1 | tsp | Sugar |
1 | dl | Water |
2 | tsp | Cardamom, ground |
50 | g | Yeast |
50 | g | Butter |
500 | g | Wheat flour |
Instructions for Wheat buds
To prepare the Wheat buds recipe, please follow these instructions:
Light milk, water and butter let and stir the yeast out of it. Mix it together whipped egg, flour, salt and sugar in the yeast and knead the dough well. Let it be raised and covered to double size - approx. 30 minutes.
Work the dough well again and divide it into 12 bowls. Place them on a baking sheet, the balls should preferably touch each other and allow them to steam over a pot of boiling water - for 20 minutes.
Brush the balls with milk or water and bake at 200 degrees C. alm. Oven for 15 - 20 minutes.
Flake and shake before eating.
