Ingredients for Water Kringle
100 | g | Icing |
2 | tsp | Cardamom |
2 ½ | dl | Milk |
2 ½-3 | tsp | Lemon juice |
200 | g | Butter |
25 | g | Yeast |
3 | Eggs | |
500 | g | Wheat flour |
75 | g | Sugar |
Instructions for Water Kringle
To prepare the Water Kringle recipe, please follow these instructions:
Chop flour and butter and chop it into a grit. Mix the cardamom in. Stir the yeast smoothly with a little milk and pour it together with the rest of the milk. Whip egg and sugar light and foamy and pour it in. Stir well together and let it rise, covered, cool, for 4-5 hours.
Easily mix it, divide it and roll it into two rods to be baked with a baking paper. Pressed flat, about 12 cm wide. Replies, covered and coiled, to double size.
Brush with water and bake on the bottom groove in preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 30 minutes.
Cool on plate. Stir the icing and spread it on the cooled cake.
