Instructions for Shakshouka
To prepare the Shakshouka recipe, please follow these instructions:
Heat the oil in a large pan and sauté onion and pepper until they are light golden.
Peel and tear the tomatoes on the big holes in the grater. Add the tomatoes to the forehead, lay on and cook at low heat for 15-20 minutes.
Remove the lid and crush the eggs over the vegetables, stir gently to break the egg yolk. Put the lid back on and cook at medium heat for approx. 5 minutes or until the eggs are firm. Season with salt and pepper.
Eat with hot pita bread.
