Instructions for Scones I
To prepare the Scones I recipe, please follow these instructions:
Mix flour, baking powder and salt in a large bowl. Findel the fat in the flour mixture either with your fingers or with a wooden spoon. Add yams and work the dough fast together.
Divide the dough into two parts. Form each piece into a flat bowl, about 15 cm in diameter.
Place the balls on a greased plate or on baking paper. Cut a cross-section into each bowl so that they are divided into four pieces.
Pour them in the oven for 12-15 minutes at 250 degrees C. alm. Oven in the middle groove.
Serve them warmly.
