To prepare the Pineapple with star anise recipe, please follow these instructions:

Peel the pineapple with a knife, halve and cut it into quarters. Cut the hard stick of and discard it. Cut the pineapple in super thin slices and put them up in a bowl. Com star anise, sugar and water in a small saucepan. Bring the liquid to a boil and let it simmer for 5 minutes, or until the consistency is like syrup. Pour the boiling syrup over pineapple. Eat solo or together with yoghurt and muesli for breakfast. Or serve with a dollop of creme fraiche, whipped cream or ice cream.

Tips:
