To prepare the Old fashioned flødekarameller recipe, please follow these instructions:
The sugar melt slowly in a large iron pot.
The pot is taken by and 2 ½ dl cream added. Put again over low flame until it starts to become thick, stir often.
Syrup and melted margarine is stirred in and it is boiling, for it is lindt, after which the last deciliter cream added.
Boil gently, so it does not burn on, to karamellen stiffens upon cooling (take up a bit with a spoon and try). It takes about 30 minutes.
