200 | g | Durum flour |
300 | g | Flutesmel |
400 | g | Sifting |
5 | dl | Organic buttermilk |
5 | dl | Water |
50 | g | Yeast |
50 | g | Butter |
525 | g | Wheat flour |
Instructions for Kristian's good gærbrød
To prepare the Kristian's good gærbrød recipe, please follow these instructions:
Melt the butter in a saucepan. Pour the water in. Getting both parts into a mixing bowl. Add the buttermilk. Dissolve the yeast and salt. Add the different types of flour. Knead well. Set for lifting at least one hour. Look up to the 2 bread. Give them a cut and efterhæv a ½ hour. Put them in a very hot oven 250 gr. Over spray like loaves with cold water-It gives a nice crust. Turn down the oven to 200 gr and bake for approximately 40 minutes.
Tips:
I think loaves will be best when I use organic buttermilk.
