1/4tspBaking soda
100gButter
18Sweet tablets (equivalent to approx. 108 g sugar)
250gWheat flour
400gApples
5Sweet tablets (equivalent to ca. 30 g sugar)

Instructions for Fruit Bars

To prepare the Fruit Bars recipe, please follow these instructions:

Flour and baking soda are sifted together. Cold butter chopped in. Broken lozenges are melted in 1 tbsp. Warm water and whip together with the egg. The dough is kneaded together and can be left cold until it is firm. 2/3 of the dough is rolled out into two elongated surfaces, which are placed on baking paper or greased plate. The rinsed apples are torn and crushed with crushed broths, purged into 1 dl of water and put in a stripe in the middle of the dough surfaces. The dough is folded sideways over the filling. The rest of the dough is rolled out, cut into strips and laid in grid pattern on the apples. The dough can be brushed with eggs.

Cooking time in preheated oven: approx. 20 min. At 200 gr.
