125 | g | Butter |
250 | g | Wheat flour |
250 | g | Core free katrine plums |
75 | g | Scalded, ground almond |
75 | g | Powdered sugar |
Instructions for French flower herring
To prepare the French flower herring recipe, please follow these instructions:
Mix all the ingredients for the batter. Leave it in the fridge approx. one hour.
Boil the flowers in the juice of the two oranges. Stir the egg, crème fraiche, sugar and almonds to the filling. Add the orange juice from the flowers (about two tablespoons).
Roll out the tenderloin and clothe a pie shape with it. The shape should be about 30 cm in diameter and have a low edge and a loose bottom. Put some holes in the dough so it does not shrink.
Bake it in a 200 degree hot oven for approx. 15 minutes.
When the dough has got a beautiful color: Fill the pie with plums and almonds. Bake in a 200 degree hot oven for another 15 minutes or until the pie has a beautiful color.
Serve the pie lukewarm, please with a little crème fraiche next door.
