1 1/4 | dl | Sugar |
1 3/4 | dl | Flour |
100 | g | Butter |
2½-3 | dl | Milk |
3 | Eggs | |
3/4 | dl | Cocoa |
Instructions for English chocolate budding
To prepare the English chocolate budding recipe, please follow these instructions:
Stir butter and sugar white and foamy. Add the egg yolks one at a time and stir well for each.
Sieve flour, baking soda and cocoa together and turn it alternately with milk without stirring too much.
Whip the egg whites stiff and turn them gently into the dough. Fill it in a greased, square bake or oven-proof dish and put the oven in the oven (can also be put in the oven only).
Chocolate budding of this type separates under the baking so that the top is cake-like and at the bottom a semi-flowing layer is formed. This is correct and is not due to errors in recipe or baking.
Serve hot or cold, sprinkle with a little sugar, and possibly. With whipped cream or raw cream.
