1 | dl | Peeled tomatoes |
1 | clove | Garlic |
1 | Onion, cut into thin slices | |
1 | tsp | Salt |
1/2 | tsp | Pepper, freshly ground |
1/2 | tsp | Dried Basil |
2 | Bouillon cubes | |
3 | tsp | Parsley |
350 | g | Long grain rice |
50 | g | Margarine |
9 | dl | Water |
Instructions for Domatesli pilavis (tomato pot)
To prepare the Domatesli pilavis (tomato pot) recipe, please follow these instructions:
Melt the margarine in a large saucepan. Add the onion slices and simmer for 5-10 minutes until soft, but not brown.
Add tomato, garlic, basil, parsley, salt and pepper and simmer for 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently.
Add the rice and mix well. Add the water and broth dice and let it boil for about 3 min. Turn down the flame, lay over and simmer for approx. 15-20 min until the wet has been absorbed.
Turn down the heat, remove the lid, put a dish and put the lid back on. Let the pilope rest for 10-15 minutes, pour into a bowl, stir the rice with a long fork and server.
