Ingredients for Deep-fried fish fillets

Basil leaves and cilantro sprigs for garnish
Spicy fish sauce (as dip)
Oil for dybstegning
Pepper
Salt
2Eggs, beaten together
500gFirm, white fish fillets, cut into 2 cm wide pieces, e.g. Pollock or turbot
6tbspWheat flour touched out in 4 tbsp. water

To prepare the Deep-fried fish fillets recipe, please follow these instructions:

Sprinkle the fish fillets with salt and pepper and place them in a dish. Let them soak for about 30 minutes. Make a pandekagedej by mixing together beaten eggs with meljævningen.

Heat the oil up to 180 degrees in a wok or frying pan. Dip fish fillets in batter and dybsteg them in teams of 3-4 minutes, until golden. Take them up to drain on paper towel.

Serve fish fillets on a heated serving dish and garnish them with Basil and coriander. Server them immediately with spicy fish sauce to dip in.
