1 | tsp | Vanilla sugar or 0.5 vanilla pod |
100 | g | Corn flakes (gluten-free) |
125 | g | Sugar |
2 | tsp | Baking soda |
2 | tbsp | Jyttemel (gluten-free) |
250 | g | Butter |
75 | g | Margarine or butter |
Instructions for Cornflake chops (gluten-free) a la oat groves
To prepare the Cornflake chops (gluten-free) a la oat groves recipe, please follow these instructions:
The cakes: melt the butter and pour it over the coarsely crushed cornflakes.
Stir eggs and sugar with each other until it is airy.
Add flour and starter powder and finally add the cornflakes mixture.
Bake for approx. 10 min. At 100 degrees.
Butter cream: pour water, sugar and vanilla powder into a pan and heat until you have a viscous, light golden syrup. This is removed from the heat and cooled down for approx. ½ hour.
Mix the butter and egg yolks softly and add the cooled syrup. Tubes for butter cream are white and airy.
The chilled cakes are put together two and two with butter cream (like oatmeal)
tips:
The recipe is gluten free, but you can easily make it in a non-gluten-free version. Replace only flour with plain wheat flour.
