Ingredients for Christmas mustard
EVS. 2 tsp. tarragon or 1 teaspoon. honey | ||
1 | dl | Yellow mustard seeds |
1 | tsp | Salt |
1 | tbsp | Sugar |
1½ | tbsp | Wine vinegar |
2 | dl | Water |
3 | tbsp | Oil |
Instructions for Christmas mustard
To prepare the Christmas mustard recipe, please follow these instructions:
Bring the water to a boil and remove the pan of the plate, add the mustard seeds and let it soak for about 8-10 hours. Then pour the seeds in a blender. Add the vinegar, sugar and salt. Stir the mixture together in 3-5 min. Add the oil and possibly. tarragon or honey, and stir the mixture for a further 2 mins.
Tips:
Homemade mustard will be better, if it can stand and mature in a few days. Mustard has a long shelf life if stored in a container in the fridge.
