250 | g | Wheat flour |
250 | g | Cold butter |
40 | g | Finely chopped hazelnuts |
80 | g | Sugar |
Instructions for Chess Cakes - Chess Days
To prepare the Chess Cakes - Chess Days recipe, please follow these instructions:
Mix flour and sugar and chop the butter out. Divide the mixture into two portions and bring nuts into one and cocoa in the other.
Collect the dough portions with each spoonful of cream and roll each dough into a square of 14 x 25 cm.
Cut the squares into 8 bars and put the bars together in 4 layers of 4, alternately dark and bright. Pour it all together well and put the dough on the fridge for one hour.
Cut the dough into 3 mm thick slices and put the slices on a plate of baking paper. Bake the cakes at 200 degrees C for 8 minutes and allow them to cool on the plate.
