25 | g | Margarine or butter |
5 | dl | Milk |
50 | g | Yeast |
Instructions for Baskets Bread
To prepare the Baskets Bread recipe, please follow these instructions:
Melt the fat, pour it over the milk and warm the mixture up to 37º Crumble the yeast into the dough dish and stir it out in a little of the milk mixture. Add the rest of the mixture as well as salt and then the rye flour into small portions at a time. Stir and knead the dough smoothly and allow it to rise for approx. 40 min. Pour the dough onto the baking table and knead the wheat flour. Form it for two round buns. Prik them with a fork and let them raise. Or leave them if possible. Raise in round, squared curves. Then the bread retains the shape and is simultaneously patterned as the basket. Pour the raised bread out of the basket on a baking tray with the bottom upwards. Pour the bread into the bottom of the oven at 200º for approx. 20 min. Brush the round buns (NB! Not the curry) with warm water as soon as they are taken out of the oven.
