Instructions for American cheese pie
To prepare the American cheese pie recipe, please follow these instructions:
Findel the fat in the flour, so it reminds of fried cheese. Mix the sugar and add the egg. Bring the dough quickly together. Put the dough cold for at least 15 minutes before rolling out.
Roll out the dough to a round plate and coat a spring shape. Beat the dough with a fork, and do not bend it during baking. Bake about 20 minutes at 200 degrees C.
Filling:
Place the house block in cold water. Stir the cream cheese together with egg yolks and creme fraichen. Stir vanilla, lemon juice and lemon peel. Melt the house blossom in a water bath and pour it into a thin jet in the filling while stirring. Whip the egg whites stiff and turn them into the curd along with the flour cream.
Pour the filling into the completely cold pie and leave for a few hours until the filling is stiffened. Sliced cherries or other fruit can be served to.
