0.5dlCinnamon sugar
12-15Plums
2Eggs
2tbspButter
2.5dlFine bread crumbs
5dlBoiled potatoes
5dlSifted wheat flour

Instructions for Svestkove Knedliky (Plum Dumplings)

To prepare the Svestkove Knedliky (Plum Dumplings) recipe, please follow these instructions:

Stir butter and salt together. Always gradually flour and potatoes in, must be quite stiff to kneel. On a floured table the dough is rolled out to approx. ½ cm thick, cut it out to 7½ cm. squares.

Put in plums on each square, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and fold the ends of the flower. Form it into a bowl.

Put the dumplings in boiling salted water, put on the lid and simmer approx. 15 minutes. Brown breadcrumbs in a little butter. Roll the dumplings into the breadcrumbs and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar
