Ingredients for Super buns
0.5 | dl | Canola oil |
1 | Eggs | |
1 | tsp | Lemon juice |
1 | kg | Wheat flour |
1 | tbsp | Sugar |
1 | dl | Water (lukewarm) |
150 | g | Raw potato |
2 | tbsp | Water |
200 | g | 5-kornsblanding |
200 | g | Oatmeal |
200 | g | Raw carrot |
3 | tsp | Honey |
3 | dl | Buttermilk |
3 | tsp | Salt |
3 | dl | Water (boiling) |
300 | g | Grahams |
50 | g | Yeast |
90 | g | Walnut kernels |
Instructions for Super buns
To prepare the Super buns recipe, please follow these instructions:
Bring 5-grain mix and oatmeal in a bowl and pour boiling water over. Let it cool.
Season the potato and carrot finely and mix with lemon juice, sugar, honey, rapeseed oil and water. Bring the mixture to a pan and simmer for 4-5 minutes. Cool until it is hot.
Stir tenderloin, water, yeast, salt and coarse walnuts together. Add the potato / carrot and then grahamsmel and wheat flour a little at a time.
Let the dough raise to double size for approx. 1 hour
Form the dough to approx. 30 buns and let them rise to double size.
Whip egg and water together and brush it on the balls
Bake at 200 degrees for approx. 20 min.
The balls are done when they sound cave when you knock on them
