Instructions for Stegben in the oven

To prepare the Stegben in the oven recipe, please follow these instructions:

Slice the loaf into slices, grind in melted grease in the frying pan in the oven, top the legs with whole cloves and crushed laurel leaves, add approx. ½ l wet, fry approx. ½ hour at 225 degrees C. alm. Oven then at 175 degrees C. alm. Oven for approx. 1 hour.

Served with mashed potatoes and red cabbage.
