10 | g | Yeast |
2.5 | dl | Old fashioned buttermilk |
550-600 | g | Sifted spelt flour |
Instructions for Spelled bread in basket
To prepare the Spelled bread in basket recipe, please follow these instructions:
Stir water, buttermilk, yeast and half of the flour to a smooth mixture. Add salt and the rest of the flour to a soft, but not sticky dough and knead it well.
Sprinkle a bread basket with wheat flour. Pour the dough into a round bread and put it in the basket. Put a reverse bowl over and put the whole event in the fridge for 4-6 hours.
Gently flip the bread onto the baking sheet with baking paper. Put it in the bottom of a 220 degree heated oven. Bake 25-30 minutes.
Cool on a grid.
