Instructions for Shepherd's Pie
To prepare the Shepherd's Pie recipe, please follow these instructions:
Heat half of the oil on a slip-light pan and heat the meat at high heat until it is well browned everywhere. Pour it into pieces with a saucepan. Remove the meat with a casserole, pour excess grease and wipe the forehead with a piece of paper roll.
Bring the rest of the oil on the forehead and season the leeks, onions, carrots and celery for approx. 15 min. Until they are tender. Bring the meat back on the forehead together with mushrooms, tomatoes, thyme and water. Season with salt and pepper and simmer for 40 minutes with frequent stirring.
Preheat the oven to 180 ° in the meantime. Bring the mashed potatoes into a bowl and stir well with half the milk and half of the butter. Season with salt and pepper.
Bring the meat sauce into a refractory dish and advantage the mashed potatoes on top. Brush with the rest of the milk and benefit the rest of the butter upstairs in small blemishes. Pour the dish in the preheated oven for 35 minutes. Or until the surface is golden and crisp.
tips:
Instead of 2 different kinds of potatoes you can easily use 900 g baked potatoes, peeled, boiled and mashed.
