Ingredients for Salt bread
1 | tsp | Honey |
10 | dl | Lukewarm water |
2 | tbsp | Fennel, if desired. stinging nettle or anise |
2 | tbsp | Sea salt |
200 | g | Sunflower kernels |
300 | g | Sifted wheat flour |
600 | g | Grahams |
600 | g | Rye flour |
Instructions for Salt bread
To prepare the Salt bread recipe, please follow these instructions:
The water poured out in a large ceramic dish. Honey and salt is mixed. Then add the corn and all the flour and spices. The dough is kneaded well through (it's heavy).
2 Bakeware well-lubricated with vitaquell margarine and place in, shaped like bread dough. Resolved to uplift – 12 to 15 hours – omvundet well with tea towels in a place where there are warm, preferably 30 degrees.
After the long withdrawal bake loaves in 3 – 4 hours at ca. 125-150 degrees. Cover molds with wax paper or a lid.
Wait till the day after with cutting into the bread, then you get the nicest slices.
Tips:
By salt bread your withdrawal method, it is important that the flour is of biodynamic (or organic) quality.
