Ingredients for Piluris
1 | Medium onion thinly sliced | |
2 | pcs | Whole cinnamon approx. 2 ½ cm each |
4.5 | dl | Basmati rice |
5 | Green cardamom | |
5 | Whole cloves | |
50 | g | Butter ghee or oil |
6.5 | dl | Water |
Instructions for Piluris
To prepare the Piluris recipe, please follow these instructions:
Rinse the rice and let them drip thoroughly.
Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium flame, when it is hot, without Brown, then came the cardamom, cloves and cinnamon in these spices, and FRY for a few mins.
Come on the onion and sauté until løgstykkerne is clear.
Come on rice and salt and sauté again for a minute, then pour the water on and bring to a boil.
Put tin foil and lid on and let the rice boil at very low flame in exactly 20 minutes.
Turn off the heat and let the rice rest for 5 min.
Gently invert the rice before serving.
