180 | g | Self-raising flour |
2 | tbsp | Extra sugar to sprinkle |
200 | g | Sugar |
225 | g | Butter |
3 | Large eggs | |
70 | g | Wheat flour |
Instructions for Madeira cake
To prepare the Madeira cake recipe, please follow these instructions:
Preheat oven to 180 degrees C.
Butter the mold. Beat the butter and sugar, add the lemon zest, add eggs one at a time along with a tablespoon. flour per egg. Mix gently the rest of the flour in and add lemon juice at the end.
Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons. sugar just before the cake is put in the oven. Bake for 1 hour or until cake release a knitting needle. Cake set on a grate but must be of the form until it is cold then it can be turned off.
Tips:
That can be used 250 g flour and 1 ½ teaspoon baking powder instead of the 2 types of flour
