3 | dl | Lukewarm water |
300 | g | Wholemeal rye flour |
50 | g | Yeast |
500 | g | Common wheat flour |
500 | g | White wheat |
Instructions for Hunter Broke Diabetic
To prepare the Hunter Broke Diabetic recipe, please follow these instructions:
Dissolve the yeast in the water and add the beer. Add the remaining ingredients and knead into the dough is uniform.
Let dough raise covered in a warm place for 1 hour.
beat the dough down and divide it into 3 equal parts, which are formed into balls and then into oblong loaf of bread and put on a plate lined with wax paper.

The small quantity of sugar in hvidtøllen is ok for a diabetic. White wheat is wholemeal wheat flour with high fiber content, which is painted in a special way that gives a fine white flour that looks and behaves like ordinary wheat flour. Bread baked with white wheat is highly suitable for diabetics, since these are not allowed to eat bread that is baked (exclusively) of common wheat flour that gives a too large and rapid increase of a diabetic blood sugar etikers.
