To prepare the Green Tomatoes, sødsyltede recipe, please follow these instructions:
The tomatoes are washed, pricked up close and deep and added 6-12 hours in a brine of vinegar and water (forlagen). They are kept under the bed sheet with a light pressure.
Then discard half of the sheet.
The tomatoes are cooked gently in the rest of the bed sheet for about 5 minutes. Sugar sprinkled in. Spices added. The tomatoes boil further 10 – 15 minutes depending on size. The tomatoes are added hereafter in glass which is washed in a little atamon.
