Instructions for Glazier Herring
To prepare the Glazier Herring recipe, please follow these instructions:
Clean the herring and put it in soft overnight. Cut the herring into small pieces. Crush the peppercorns roughly. Peel the carrot and arrow loose. Bring the water to boil and add spices. Let it boil for 15 minutes. Add the onion and carrot cut into slices and let it boil for another 2 minutes. Let the flask cool and add vinegar and Hermeseta's Dryslet. Put the herring pieces in a glass jar and pour the cold make over. The herring is best after 2 days.
