Instructions for Foccasia with optional topping
To prepare the Foccasia with optional topping recipe, please follow these instructions:
Soak the water and add yeast and sugar, leave it for 5 minutes.
Add olive oil and stir the flour for a little while. The dough is now very sticky. Knead to the dough is smooth, and set it aside until it has approx. Double size. mine. 1 hour longer.
Take the dough out of the bowl without striking the air and gently spread it into a greased barbecue tray by stretching it.
The surface is brushed with olive oil and squeezed into the dough with your fingers.
Then trimmed with topping. There may be sprigs of herbs, strips of red onions, finely chopped garlic. Choose a tasty topping, it produces the best results.
Finally, add salt to the bread and baking it for approx. 25 min on the grill or in the preheated oven at high temperature (about 230 degrees).
