Ingredients for Falafel (raw food)
0.25 | cup | Fresh lemon juice |
1 | clove | Garlic finely chopped |
1 | tsp | Salt |
1 | tsp | Cumin powder |
1.5 | cup | Macadamia nuts |
1.5 | cup | Walnuts |
2 | tbsp | Minced parsley |
2 | tbsp | Minced chives |
2 | tbsp | Raw tahini |
Instructions for Falafel (raw food)
To prepare the Falafel (raw food) recipe, please follow these instructions:
Soak the nuts for 15 minutes and drain the water. Mix it all together with a spoonful in a large bowl. Bring it to the blender and blend. Add ½ cup of extra water if necessary. Afterwards the mass is kneaded with clean hands.
Make small balls of falafel mass and press them a little flat. Get them in the dehydrator for 8 hours at 35 degrees Celsius. There will be 35-40 falcils.
Serving suggestions:
As "pita bread" can be used large romaine salad leaves and reddish leaves. Inside you will get 2-3 falafels broken in 2 halves. Bring some spoonful tomato cucumber salad (variant with olives) and finally basic tahini dressing.
