Heat a little oil in a frying pan and Brown the steaks on both sides. Season with salt and pepper. Fry them for approximately 4-5 minutes on each side and flip them along the way. Take them off and let them rest warm for 5 minutes. In the same pan, add onions that are cut from top to root and a little butter. When they are golden, add red wine. Simmer until the wine is almost evaporated. Stir in the rest of the butter in and season with salt and pepper. Server to the steaks, possibly with boiled potatoes.
