To prepare the Brown bean soup recipe, please follow these instructions:
Bring the beans, chopped celery and the crushed onion into a pot of 1½ l of water. Bring the contents to the boil and simmer for about 40 minutes until the beans are tender. Push it all through a sieve and put the puree in a pan together with the tomato puree. This spices well with salt and pepper and chili sauce. If necessary, the soup can be leveled with a little Maizeamel. Served with a piece of good bread.
