1Chicken of good quality (1200-1400 g) or sliced chicken with or without skin and bones (ca. 800 g)

100gCooked Pearl barley (Cook according to instructions on the bag)

2Large carrots

To prepare the Barbecue Chicken with baked root vegetables & amp; slaw recipe, please follow these instructions:

Thoroughly clean the chicken and dip it dry with a little roll of paper. Put the chicken or chicken pieces into the bag and pour the contents of Knorr Barbecue spice into the bag, shake the bag and close carefully.

Follow the instructions on the bag. If you use a whole chicken, you should calculate a cooking time of approx. 1 hour

Chop the chilli very nicely. Stir a dressing of olive oil and a little vinegar, ½ pressed garlic, chili, paprika or cumin, salt and pepper. Turn the dressing in the salad

Pick up chicken, baked root vegetables and raw salad on a plate and you have a wonderful mid-day dish that everyone in the family will love

Bonus advice: To save the calories, remove the skin from the fried chicken. There is lots of flavor in the meat itself.
