½ | tsp | Sugar |
½ | cup | Water |
1 | tbsp | Lemon juice |
1 | Kaymak (a kind of cream that can be purchased ready-made in cans) | |
1 | tbsp | Rose water |
1 | tbsp | Vanilla sugar |
10 | g | Yeast |
150 | g | Wheat flour |
2 | tbsp | Pistachio nuts |
3 | dl | Lukewarm water |
Instructions for Ataif (Arabic pancakes)
To prepare the Ataif (Arabic pancakes) recipe, please follow these instructions:
Stir the yeast into the lukewarm liquid and add flour, sugar, vanilla and baking soda for 30 minutes. Bake like small pancakes in teaspoon without fat.
Syrup: Boil together in a pan for approx. 15 min. And cool.
