Instructions for A lady's hen
To prepare the A lady's hen recipe, please follow these instructions:
Boil the chicken with the onion and parsley. Pile the meat from the legs.
Stir one not for the lamb's father of chopped meat, grated onion, egg, ½ sps. Flour and salt and pepper. Divide the dad in the bottom of a greased, refractory dish. Distribute the chicken meat upstairs.
Melt the margarine in a saucepan, add flour, then mushroom with water and finally milk. All while stirring until you have a light mushroom sauce. (Replace any of the milk with the sweet soup from the chicken). Season with salt and pepper. Pour the sauce over the chicken.
Roll out the butter dough and cut into strips that are laid as a grid on top of the dish. Brush with a little milk or egg. Bake in a 180 degree hot oven for approx. one hour.
Serve with roasted potato slices or small boiled potatoes.
