2Pasteurized egg yolks
5tbspCognac
50gCocoa
50gSugar
8dlWhole milk

Instructions for Zuppa Inglese

To prepare the Zuppa Inglese recipe, please follow these instructions:

Beat the egg yolks and half of the sugar together in a bowl. Add the flour, grated lemon peel and 5 dl. milk. The mixture is heated slowly in a pot for about 6 minutes, stirring constantly. It must not come to a boil. Take the Pan from the heat.

The rest of the milk, cocoa and the rest of the sugar is heated slowly up in another saucepan; still stirring constantly, so it does not come to a boil. Take the Pan from the heat.

Pour cognac into a bowl and moisten cakes herein. Put a layer of cake in a glass dish, then 1/3 then 1/3 pudding and chocolate cream. Continue to build the cake up stacks of cats. Finish with a layer of pudding. It's all drag and made cold in my 2 hours and preferably overnight.
