A little grated nutmeg

1Eggs
100gFulkorn svedemel
1-2tbspMilk
175gBrown sugar
175gWheat flour
175gButter
2top tbspBaking soda
25gOrange peel, chopped
75gCurrants

Instructions for Wholemeal cakes

To prepare the Wholemeal cakes recipe, please follow these instructions:

Mix the flour, salt, baking soda, spices and brown sugar in a bowl. Crumble the butter in melblandingen and add the currants and orange peel. Stir in the egg and the milk, and mix to a firm dough.

Shape the dough with two forks for tops on the baking plate with wax paper. Behind them ca. 150 minutes at 200 degrees on the Middle slot. Let the cakes cool slightly on the plate before being lifted onto wire rack.

Decorate the cakes with apricot or orange Marmalade and almonds.
