Ingredients for Valnøddekrans
¼ | l | Ymer |
½ | dl | Lukewarm water |
1 | tbsp | Syrup |
100 | g | Wholemeal wheat flour |
1½ | tsp | Salt |
2½ | dl | Boiling water |
50 | g | Yeast |
500 | g | Wheat flour |
75 | g | Chopped Walnut cores |
Instructions for Valnøddekrans
To prepare the Valnøddekrans recipe, please follow these instructions:
Whole grain wheat flour is poured over boiling water and lasts a couple of hours.
Bring yeast and water in. Salt, syrup, yams, nuts and wheat flour are added and the dough is well kneaded. Set aside for a slight spot about ¾ hours.
The dough is knocked down and divided into 2, which are rolled into long sausages. Snoop together and form a wreath on the plate. Repeats approx. 15 minutes.
Bagetid approx. 35 minutes at 200 degrees.
tips:
To emphasize the walnut stomach, add syrup. It can be omitted if you do not want the sweet taste.
