To prepare the Typical Southern lunch bread recipe, please follow these instructions:
Break into pieces in a bowl and stir the yeast into the warm water (37 degrees). Add the oil, salt and flour just about anything. Knead the dough thoroughly and let it raise uncovered to double size approximately 45 minutes.
Take a quarter of the dough from. The rest rolled out to a rectangle, which is placed on a baking sheet. Cut a leaf-shaped pattern in the batter with a pair of scissors. The last quarter part kneaded and shaped through to six buns. Let loaves raise uncovered about 30 minutes.
Brush with water and bake dough balls at 225 degrees for about 12 minutes, the bread at 200 degrees for about 20 minutes.
Tips:
Avoid beating the dough down after uplift and brush with plenty of water before baking. So get the right cool crumb and crispy bread crust.
