Ingredients for Turkish asks
1 | tsp | Salt |
1 | tsp | Sugar |
3 | dl | Water |
30 | g | Yeast |
500 | g | Wheat flour |
Instructions for Turkish asks
To prepare the Turkish asks recipe, please follow these instructions:
Crumble the yeast in dejfadet and pipe it out with finger warm water.
Add the sugar and let the mixture stand for about 20 minutes, snug to the yeast bubbles.
Add the flour and salt and knead the dough thoroughly through until it is quite smooth.
Cover the dish with a damp cloth and place the dough in a warm place for raising in approximately 1 hour.
Portion dough into 12 portions. Roll them into buns, which unfolded in approximately ½ cm thickness with a diameter of about 12 cm.
Let loaves raise ca 15 min. Warm an iron plate up and behind the loaves on both sides till they get light brown spots.
