1 | glass | Wheat flour |
1.25 | glass | Olive oil |
1.75 | glass | Water |
2 | tbsp | Melted margarine |
2 | glass | Sugar |

Instructions for Tullumba
To prepare the Tullumba recipe, please follow these instructions:
SYRUP: put the sugar, water and lemon juice into a saucepan, and melt the sugar, stirring, let it boil into fairly thick. Set aside and allow to cool.
CAKES: heat the margarine in a saucepan, add the water and salt and bring to the boil. Reduce heat and Add flour immediately. Stir the mixture constantly with a wooden spoon and continue until the dough drop the pages into the Pan, shape the dough as a ball. It should take a 6 minutes, then take it off the heat, set aside and cool. Than cooling, add the eggs and knead about 10 minutes.
Put dough in an icing bag with a large tip, set 7-8 cakes in a pan with the hot olive oil. Start the cakes over low heat, increase the heat after pasties puffer up and FRY until golden blond. Fish cakes up with a slotted spoon, and allow the oil to drain away. Pasties are added in the syrup. Pasties are taken up by the syrup and place on a serving dish and served chilled.
