0.5tspCorn starch
1Fennel in 1 cm cubes
1tspCoarse salt
1dlSemi-skimmed milk
1tbspOil
10dlWater
200gParsnips into 1 cm cubes
200gParsley root into 1 cm cubes
3tbspChives like frozen
300gPotatoes into 1 cm cubes
4Coarsely chopped zittauer onions (approx. 240 g)
4tbspChicken stock or 3 bouillon cubes

To prepare the Root vegetable soup with cooked hams recipe, please follow these instructions:

Sauté the vegetables in the oil without Brown. Add the stock and water and let it boil at the even heat for 20 min. Blend a little more than half of the vegetables along with a bit of the soup. Pour the mixed soup back into the pot and cook it through for a moment. Smooth broth with cornstarch stirred out of semi-skimmed milk. Season with salt and pepper. Add the chives just before serving.

Serve with cold cooked hams & rye bread.
