Instructions for Pommes Anna (Bradepande)
To prepare the Pommes Anna (Bradepande) recipe, please follow these instructions:
The potatoes are peeled and cut into very thin slices like on mandolin. The loops are peeled and chopped well. The butter is melted.
Potatoes, onion, melted butter, salt and pepper are twisted together, making it easier with your hands, make sure to divide all the potato slices apart.
The mixture is poured into a frying pan covered with baking paper approx. 23x33 cm. Put a piece of baking paper over and place it in the oven at 130 degrees C. alm. Oven approx. 2 hours until the potatoes are tender.
Take the frying pan out of the oven and put another frying pan on top of the pressure, fill it up with something heavy and style it in the fridge for the next day. Feel like a bigger pan or dish as the butter can run over.
When the potatoes are to be used, they are loosened from the edge of the pan, and the frying pan is easily heated to the bottom, just as it loses.
Turn onto a cutting board and cut into suitable pieces.
Place the pieces on a baking sheet or dish and place in the oven at 150 degrees C. alm. Oven in minutes until they are through heat approx. 30 minutes.
