Instructions for Parmesan Oil

To prepare the Parmesan Oil recipe, please follow these instructions:

Cut the parmesan nuts into pieces of approx. 50 grams. Bring the pieces in a saucepan, pour olive oil on until it covers. Warm slowly to a temperature so hot that you could still leave your finger in oil without burning. Hold this temperature for 15-20 minutes. Stir in the mixture a couple of times along the way.

Bring oil and parmesan to a porcelain bowl. Cover so that no significant light penetrates, but do not look cold. Leave parmesan oil for 2-3 weeks until the parmesan flavor has materialized in the oil.
