Instructions for Norwegian smultringe
To prepare the Norwegian smultringe recipe, please follow these instructions:
Whip eggs and sugar foamy. Add the other ingredients and knead the dough well. Let it rest for half an hour and then roll it out in about 1 cm thickness.
Jack smultringene out, so they form a circle with the hole in the Middle, and cook the cakes light brown in hot oil or coconut oil. Lift them out of the oil with a slotted spoon, and let them drain on fat sucking paper.
Keep the rings in a cake tin with tight-fitting lid.
